Our Smart products all rely on the intelligent options offered by digitization. A product is "smart" when it is connected to the Internet via a Wi-Fi router and controlled via a smartphone/tablet which communicates automatically with the device.

When HWAM® SmartControl™ is connected to the Wi-Fi, it makes the stove intelligent in the sense that the various components are compatible, continuously updated and programmed to function optimally for the user.

• Lambda probe that measures the oxygen level in the stove
• Temperature sensor that measures the temperature in the stove
• Room sensor tells the stove what temperature is in the room.
• The app is the system’s control panel.

• Fewer particles

  HWAM® SmartControl™ automatically adjusts the amount of oxygen to allow the combustion chamber to easily reach a sufficiently high temperature (750°C) to burn off all particles before reaching the chimney. This provides the most eco-friendly combustion possible. (Good and dry firewood is a prerequisite).
• Meets increasingly stringent environmental requirements

  HWAM® SmartControl™'s combustion meets the increasingly stringent environmental requirements (national and international).
• Same combustion results at home with the owner as at the test institutes

  Automatically controlled based on software and algorithms, HWAM® SmartControl™ achieves the same combustion results at home with the owner as at the test institutes. In other words, it does just as well at the owner’s as it does at the test institutes. This may not be the case of manually controlled wood-burning stoves.
• Free system updates

  The system’s software versions can be updated for free, and the software will, therefore, not be outdated. This means that an older SmartStove can be updated with new software versions. In fact, the HWAM® SmartControlTM stove gets better and better over time.

• No regulation

  HWAM® SmartControl™ regulates the air inlet during the entire combustion process. Simply add firewood. The stove will automatically control the combustion, leaving the user time to do something else.
• Less handling of firewood

  Thanks to HWAM® SmartControl™ there is a reduction in the consumption of firewood. This means:

  - That you do not have to fire as often and bringing in as much firewood as you used to

  - That you do not have to stack firewood as often, as the stack of firewood will last longer.
• Re-stoking alarm

  The app and room sensor will send a message when more firewood needs to be added, which is less frequent than expected.
• The right temperature

  Set the heat level in the app:

  - Set the heat level to suit a specific room / house or personal preference.

  - The heat demand in the home depends on the weather conditions and the season.
• Night-time reduction

  Set the night-time reduction in the app to a given time of day. HWAM® SmartControl™ will burn at as low a flame as possible, always giving environmental considerations and efficiency the highest priority. This ensures several hours of more continuous heat in the room.
• Door switch

  HWAM® SmartControl™ registers when the door is opened. The system will automatically open the air inlets to allow the temperature in the combustion chamber to rapidly reach the same environmen-tally sound and economical level as before the door was opened.
• Heat control

  HWAM® SmartControl™ means comfortable, controlled heat. Heat will not accumulate if the user waits for a signal to add more firewood and maintain the desired room temperature.
• Meets the demands of the future

  HWAM® SmartControl™ takes the wood-burning stove into the digital world and into the future. The system therefore meets environmental requirements for years to come.
