HWAM on British Television

A HWAM 3650 was chosen as the wood burner of choice for the restoration of a 17th century windmill.

In the programme of January 5th 2012 Channel 4 series “Restoration Man” featured a couple who chose a HWAM 3650 wood burning stove to complement their restoration of Reeds Windmill from the 17th century.

The host of the series, Architect George Clarke, is passionate about the British architectural heritage. He travels the British Isles meeting the British people who want to breathe new life into the architectural treasures he unearths on his journey. His mission is to help them transform these undervalued gems into brand new homes fit for 21st century living.

The programme of January 5th 2012 was rather moving as Nikki, the lady involved, was diagnosed with terminal cancer midway through the project. Her partner, Peter, drew inspiration and determination from her condition and went on to complete the project, returning the mill to its former, towering glory as a tribute to Nikki.

George Clarke: I love HWAM 3650

At the end of the programme George Clarke comments on the choice of wood burning stove:

"Love the wood-burning stove… Looooove that.”

HWAM A/S hopes the HWAM 3650 wood-burning stove will bring lots of joy in Peter’s and Nikki’s new home.
